What to check before booking a recording studio

Match the room to the session

A vocal booth is not a drum room. A film stage is not automatically available by the hour. Read the facilities on the profile and the booking note. If a note says availability is unconfirmed, believe it.

Ask what the rate includes

• Engineer, or the room only.
• Rough mix, full mix, or files only.
• How many revisions.
• Minimum hours.
• Overtime after the booked slot.
• GST or other taxes.

Do not confuse an enquiry with a hold

Sending a form or a WhatsApp message tells StudioKhoj what you need. The slot is confirmed only after the studio accepts it and you accept the terms. Until then, make no travel plan that depends on that room.
