What to ask a producer before the session

A producer is not automatically included when you book a room through StudioKhoj. Some artists bring one. Some rooms have an engineer who also makes production decisions. Those are different people until someone says otherwise.

Ask before the date

• Are you producing, engineering, or both?
• Is your fee inside the studio hour or separate?
• How many revisions of the mix are included?
• Who keeps the session files, and in what format?
• Will you be in the room on that date, or is this remote?

StudioKhoj does not publish a producer’s credits or a producer’s rate unless a public source did, and none is invented here. Put the answers you need in the enquiry. The reply is still not a confirmed booking until you accept it.
